:: Industrial Design II - Bacteria Detector - P.E.D - (Gallery) ::

:: Industrial Design II - Bacteria Detector - P.E.D - (Panel) ::

Diarrhea is a common disease people suffer with..
this bacteria a food-Bourne..
E.coli, Salmonella, Shygella, and Campylobacter..

therefore, we r told to design a device to capture, to detect, and to destroy a bacteria..
(we became a scientists for 1 sem..haha..carried research whole time..)

some of the method to detecting bacteria can only be carried out in the laboratory..
therefore, my design are bring that 'machine' from lab, to outside..!

professional, authorities, and even the students may used the devices..

just a small and simple device actually..

here comes out the part inside it..

How it works?
samples were 'captured', analysis..
and then..
Bingo!
the results tell all..

Thats All!!
Not even took 5 minutes to explain about this..
but??

we got no chance to present..talks..open mouth..
( how u can LISTEN if we dont even TALK?..hahaha)

NO CHANCE at all..
that is so dissapointed to a designer whom cannot present their work..
cannot explain n defend about the design..

but its okay..
we admitted our own mistakes..
despite not sleep for 3days to finish this project..
its not last minute laa..
its ok actually..
 even animal got problem!
hahahahhahhaaaa~~~ ;P

nevermind..
next time wont be like this anymore..

~but we deserved 2nd chance laa..

:: Advanced CAD - Final Product - A1 Panel - MRmix77 ::

A1 Panel

we are required to design a new product..
not the existing one..
but, re-designed are accepted..

therefore, i designed a mixer together with the control..

rendered in Rhino using 3000 aspect ratio..

it took hours to complete 1 rendering image..

adding some tools such as Beats, and Tables.

thats all..

Thank you!

:: 3Dmax - Interior Design ::

My first try in using 3Dmax..
heehe.,
all furniture were just in the internet..

but this software so heavy laa..
compare to Rhino, i would prefer rhino..hee..

::: Tutorial on How to Make - Fanimation FP8008 Multimax Energy Smart 52 Inch Ceiling Fan With Light Kit :::

Hye!
Today we r going to make a ceiling fan..
1st of all, we choose the 'Small Object - Meter'

Make a circle with diameter of 30m for the main body (housing) of the fan..
using tools 'ExtrudeCrv', extrude the circle 10m above..
the picture are like below..

Next, we continue in build the downrod..
use 'Center' option, and make a 'Circle' of 10m above the housing part..

'ExtrudeCrv' the circle with 50m long..

Next, is build the (Housing Motor), a place for the blade itself..
make a 'Circle' about 20m in diameter..
Then 'ExtrudeCrv' with 5m below the housing part..
picture like below..

Next thing is to build the remote control module or fitter for the fan..
By using the 30m Circle before, 'Move' it down so that it is right below the Housing Motor..

Once again, 'ExtrudeCrv' the circle with 40m long..

now we have an almost complete Body of the fan..

use the 30m Circle before, and bring it up a little bit in order to build the compartment of bolt and nut for the fan..
you can refer to the picture above..
then, make a small circle of 1m in diameter which is in alligned with the circle that has been moved up before..

using the tools of 'Sweep1' we can make a pipe..
make the small circle as cross-section, and the 30m circle as a rail..

use tools 'BooleanDifference' to get rid of the pipe from main body..
the purpose is to get the rail or lining for the compartment..
when it is done, the picture a like below..

Next, is to make the bolt and nut for the fan..
im not doing it precisely..just to show that there are bolt and nut there..
make a small circle of 1m like picture below..

Then, 'ExtrudeCrv' the circle to center of the body..
see below..

then, make another circle to make the nut..
the diameter should be 1.5m..

pull out the bolt and nut so that it can be looks a like picture below..

Next, is to make many of these bolt and nut..

using the command 'ArrayCrv', select the bolt and nut, and the body of fan as a reference..
its up to you on how many u want for the bolts and nuts..
im using 8 pieces here..

and here the 8pieces of bolts and nuts..

Next is to combine the bolts and nuts together with the main body parts..
using the command 'BooleanUnion' and select the parts you want to combine with..
like picture above..

next stage is 'FilletEdge'..
fillet the most edges in the main body part with 0.5m..
the highlighted lines above are examples of edges that needed to be fillet..

not forget the Mounting Device which is located above of the body fan..
make a circle of 50m at the Center of the rod before..
after that, make another Circle of 15m then locate it slightly below the 50m circle before..
see picture below..

then,use tools 'Loft'..
by choosing both circles..
use the style 'Normal' in Loft option menu..
and you will get something like below..

dont forget to closed the Mounting Device by using 'PlanarSrf' tools like picture below..

Then, fillet it so that it looks more interesting..

we move down again in lower part of the body fan..
to build the compartment of the Light Kit..
make a 30m circles, the 'ExtrudeCrv' it with 20m long..
closed it with using 'PlanarSrf' tools..
see picture below..

last part, is Blades of the fan..
draw a shape like below using Polyline and Lines..
make it look like a blades..

again, 'ExtrudeCrv' the shapes with 1m long..
place it in the middle of the Body Motor..

adjust the shape of the blades to make it bigger using 'Scale' tools..

then, 'Rotate' the blades a little bit to make it slight..
then, 'ArrayCrv' the blade to make it 4pieces..

then, fillet everything on the blades with 0.5m 'FilletEdge' option..

Finally, i believed your Fanimation Ceiling Fan are already finish and complete!

finalize your model by insert a proper material on each part of the body fan..
